Mission

To provide life-transforming content for both teachers and students that recovers the "human" in Humanities, recapturing the true nature of liberal arts education: the transformation of character and personalities through the noble ideas taught in great works of art.

To equip students to think critically, and to enable teachers to deliver excellent content that is both pedagogically challenging and graphically appealing. We are calling for a higher standard of learning for this and the coming generations.

Why Aslan?

Aslan is the Turkish word for lion, which C.S. Lewis used for the lion in his famous Narnia series.

The lion is a symbol of power, dignity, and of nobility, strength, and bravery.

Our content is designed to exemplify and encourage growth in these atttributes.

Aslan is a lion — the Lion, the great Lion."

" Ooh! " said Susan. " I'd thought he was a man. Is he — quite safe? I shall feel rather nervous about meeting a lion... "

" Safe? " said Mr Beaver. " Who said anything about safe? 'Course he isn't safe. But he's good.

He's the King, I tell you.

— C.S. Lewis, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
